Laundress Lucca is just back from a quick jaunt to Vegas,

Many Americans find themselves in Vegas for one reason or another, and Laundress Lucca is no exception. Blame it on a show or a convention that brought you here; regardless, we just end up acting like childish jackasses.

There is a reason the slogan for Las Vegas is “What happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas” it represents everything we were taught from birth not to do. No smoking, no drinking, no gambling, no sexing, and no drugging. Even a devout pastor on the way to performing a wedding ceremony will slip a quarter in a slot machine from time to time.

The strongest marriage can quickly crumble with what starts as an innocent drink with one of the stunningly beautiful courtesans working the bars.

Many fortunes have been lost here, yet we return to the cycle. Even if we are ahead, we play till we lose.

And the all too familiar “walk-of-shame” we experience when stepping outside of a casino and discovering it’s already 10 am, and you thought it was only midnight. Time stands still.

Did you know that Vegas has more weddings per capita than any other city in the world? On the opposite end of the spectrum, 38% of all marriages consummated in Las Vegas end within 72 hours of the ceremony. It certainly puts into perspective those drunken goggles we wear after a night of debauchery. However, people indeed become more and more attractive as the evening progresses.

Rouge is, by far, the sexiest show in Vegas, and Laundress Lucca was front stage and center. A provocative cast of 18 stunningly gorgeous topless men and women stimulate the senses, as well as please and tease your inner voyeur. Most shows in Las Vegas incorporate women or men; Rouge, on the other hand, brings them together. It’s at The Strat theater and is an exciting and immersive sensual experience created to sizzle the stage for a ravishing and elegant theatrical experience. It’s a journey of seduction and adult adventure designed to unleash one’s imagination mixed with clever and witty humor. So prepare to feel naughty and a little bit guilty. We all have fantasies, and this full-scale, erotic production will bring them to life.

Venereal disease and a headache aren’t the only unwanted visitors that find their way home from Vegas. Let’s not forget that gray cloud of cigarette smoke that engulfs you in the casino and lodges into the fibers of your clothing. Throw in a spilled drink or three, and you have an emergency clothing crisis you really don’t realize until you open that Gucci roller bag once at home.

How to Remove Cigarette Smells from Clothing –

Stale cigarette and cigar smoke odors are never pleasant. If you’ve had a smokey encounter, you should treat your clothing as soon as possible to regain the freshness you deserve. There are a few methods that you can try from home, using common household supplies. However, patience is an essential part of the solution since odors dissipate very slowly.

  1. Air out the garment – hang the smoke-laden clothing in the open air. If you cannot hang things outside, hang the clothing in a room filled with green leafy plants to help absorb the odors. Use a fan to create air movement. The length of time needed to air clothes depends on how saturated they are with smoke and how sensitive you are to the odors. Don’t be surprised, but the length of airing out can be as little as 3 days and as many as a couple of weeks.

  2. Soak in baking Soda and Water Solution – to remove the odor; soak washable clothing in a sink or washing machine filled with warm water and one cup of baking soda after airing and before washing. Overnight is usually sufficient.

  3. Machine Wash – After airing and soaking, wash according to label instructions using unscented laundry detergent. Add one cup of distilled white vinegar to the rinse water and stop the cycle. Let the laundry soak for an hour in the vinegar and water solution before completing the rinse cycle. If the clothes should be hand-washed, follow your usual routine but add vinegar to the rinse water.

  4. Air Dry – Dry the freshly washed clothes and linens on a clothesline or clothes rack in the sunlight. The ultra-violet rays of the sunlight will help further remove odors and smells; however, bright sunlight can cause dyes to fade, so hang dark colors in the shade. Line drying your clothes will also provide a final opportunity for clothes to air out.

Usually, all it takes is one time going through these steps to remove the strong smoke odor. However, if you don’t have several days to several weeks to air out appropriately, it’s time to take advantage of our pick-up and delivery service from Pacifica-Laundry.com. Our commercial-grade, front-load washing machines use less water and detergent but get clothes cleaner. With larger drums and efficient speeds, it allows more oxygen to infiltrate the clothes resulting in accelerated smoke removal. Further, our large drum dryers allow for more oxygen to travel between fibers, thereby aiding in the quick turn-around.

So, if you don’t have the time, energy, or the desire to go through steps 1-4, Laundress Lucca says get off your ass, place an order and be prepared to receive your clean, fresh-smelling clothes back in 48 hours. That’s just about enough time to repack and embark on another foolish jaunt to Sin-city.
